Their Future Is Now! and CEEF is
committed to preserving your privacy. The following statement describes the
general information-gathering and usage practices of our web site and donation
service.
Collecting personal information through our
website:
When you make a donation to Their Future Is Now!, we
collect the essential information in order to issue you a tax donation receipt.
This personal information, if provided , may include: name, address, email
address, donation amount and school affiliation. Their Future Is Now! shares
this information with CEEF , the endowment foundation to whom you have
designated your donation. As the non profit organization managing the logistics
of this campaign, CEEF will have access to your data. CEEF will serve as the
liaison between Save Cupertino Schools and Cupertino Union School District.
If you select to pay by "credit card" or "credit card subscription",
you will be registering to make a credit card donation with our payment
processor. The collection of data for processing your credit card payments is
handled by Google Pay. If you pay by subscription, future donations will be
made automatically. You will receive an email receipt from the payment
processor for each recurring donation installment .
Cookies:
"Session cookies" are being used while a donor is
making a donation using Save Cupertino Schools donation website. "Cookies" are
bits of information that are stored by your browser on your hard drive. We use
"session cookies" so that we can protect the donor's data as they move from one
donation page to the next. We also use "session cookies" in addition to
verifying personal information so that we can provide secure access to donor
information. These session cookies are not linked to personally identifiable
information.
Web log files:
Like most
web site administrators we use log files that record information such as
Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider
(ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and page
navigation.
Protecting personal information:
Their Future Is Now! takes every precaution to protect donor
information. When donors submit sensitive information via our web site, their
information is protected both online and off-line. When a form asks donors to
enter sensitive information (email address or physical address), that
information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in
the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as a donation form, the lock
icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft
Internet Explorer becomes locked to indicate that encryption is in use.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online,
we also do everything in our power to protect donor information off-line. All
of our donor information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above,
is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to
perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable
information. All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy
practices. |
